keep up the good work, you're a rock star.
Thanks for the awesome compliment! I actually just try to keep up with you :) Not as fast as you yet, but I will be sometime sooN!
The Garmins are a bit more pricey. I went with the Forerunner 305, because its gotten pretty good reviews around the blog world. I found it on Amazon for $146. It is bigger, especially on my smaller wrists, but it’s not heavy or anything. I like the big screen and the easy navigation.
I know Theodora at Losing Weight In The City has the Garmin Forerunner 405. They look a lot sleeker, but they are also more pricey (anywhere from 270-360ish).
I also looked at the Garmin Forerunner 310, which is kind of an updated version of the Forerunner 305. However, you’ll be paying around $350 for that one.
So far, I love my Garmin. It doesn’t get the best reception if I try to run in the middle of the city, but since I do most of my runs away from the city, it is pretty dead on accurate. I still use my Nike+ when I am on the treadmill or if I just want to hear rough cues of where I am in my workout. But I think the Garmin is clearly an upgrade from Nike+.
Think of it as an investment. That’s how I justified it :)
