Run the Line
C’mon all you photo buffs, I need some advice here!

So I’ve been in the market for a new camera for…a long time.  I have an 5-6 year old Canon camera (I am not sure of the model offhand…yeah I am at work and should be doing work, but you know how it goes) and it just makes me NOT want to take pictures.  It’s slow and only 3.2 megapixels.  Yup, you read that right—many of today’s cell phones take better pictures than my camera.

It’s safe to say I am in the market for a new one.  While I am a novice photographer, I think I want something more than a basic point and shoot, because I want to have the option to get better at it.  DSLRs are definitely out of the price range.

What would you recommend?
